CSI (Computer Science Integration) Class

Reminders to 5th-8th CSI Classes
Time flies like an arrow. The first quarter is almost over and we find ourselves
still beating the deadline for unfinished projects. Here's to sum up what we have
gone through so far in our Computer Class:
- 1st session- Lesson and quiz on the Core Rules of Netiquette,
- 2nd session- Introduction to Basic Graphic Design/Logo Design Basic as a preparation for designing respective wiki page
- 3rd-4th session- Create a glogster, a fun way to express creativity through online poster
- 5th session- Upload glogster in the wiki page
- 6th session- Introduce wordle and create at least a wordle of adjectives and phrases about oneself
- After signing in to your glogster account, go to your dashboard
- Edit your poster then Save and Publish
- Mark: School for Category and Public to share to others,then Save And Publish
- Click View this glog to make sure your glog will be full page, then Save and Publish again
- Scroll down and Embed get the Code copy
- Sign in to your wiki page, Edit
- Go to Other HTML click the box Paste and Save
- Then Save again for your wiki page and you're done!
You have the Week of Oct. 13-16 to edit and finish your projects. Here's the breakdown of your Computer grade for the 1st quarter ( a grade of C disqualifies you from the Honors Roll)
- Written test 20% - Test on Netiquette this week
- Glogster 40% - Theme, Design, Slogan/Motto
- Wordle 40% - Create a Wordle of 1. adjectives and phrases to describe self/friend/family
2. ing- verbs to describe what true Love is according to Jesus' teaching
All projects will be showcased in the respective wiki page
Fourth grade CSI
1st quarter grade will be based on the following:
- Index Cards on "Oh the Places We'll Go" with Trucker Buddy Tony - 30%
- Message Post Class Buddy in Africa and France - 25%
- Blog Post Trucker Buddy- 25%
- Wordle- 20%

I am reading a book called A diary of a wimpy kid Rodrick's rules and its by Jeff Kinney, Reading can make you smart if you read a lot of books and if you understand it so keep reading and it will be fun when you read these books of a wimpy kid.

i've been singing for 12 years . i write poetry, very strong . my quote "have faith in tomorrow never wish for yesterday and dare to dream all your dreams." live, love, laugh,dream and be true to the world . friends , the quotation for today "the only way to have a friend is to be one ."

Today, I went to school and learned some things. Then later, i ate lunch and our class had computer class. During computer class, we all had to make a comment, like this one. Also, i get to go home at 3:00. :)

On Tuesday the 10th of November The seventh grade and I went to the Academy of Science. We saw a Pendulum, birds, flowers, and animals. The class and I had to fill out a worksheet we had to find out what we had to find out in Africa and the tropical rain forest.

On Tuesday November 10, 2009 our 7th grade class went to the Academy of Science. We learned about Africa's wild surroundings and animals. We split into three groups one boy group, and two girl groups. Our group saw a Pendulum, a white alligator, and a really big bass. We had a worksheet to do which was really easy. We went into a miniature kind of rain forest. And it was pretty warm.

Today in math class we did not really math at all. The only thing we did was watch "the odd couple."Because we were going to watch the play tomorrow at mercy sf.
